TSAMBAGARAV MOUNTAIN 

The sacred, snow-capped mountain

The sacred, snow-capped Tsambagarav mountain is a stand alone on the border of Bayan-ulgii and Hovd aimag within area of 110960 hectares. Tsambagarav (4208m.a.s.l) is a part of Altai mountain ranges with many glaciers, rocky gorges, glacial lakes and 7m waterfall. In this national park, outstanding wildlife habitats can be found including endangered snow leopard, argali wild-sheep, ibex, snow-cock. Kazakh and Urianhai nomadic herders live in their summer camp in the bottom of holy mountain.
